
I don’t just want to help you lose a few pounds. I truly want to help you achieve your best life. I want to help my patients live a long life full of enjoyment, energy, strength, and happiness without chronic disease, physical pain, and mental anguish.
My question to you is, why do you want to lose weight? What is your WHY? Almost everyone has a goal of losing weight, whether they are actively working on it or would like to. A key difference between someone who has success with long term weight loss vs someone who doesn’t lose weight is having a personal reason why they want to have a healthier weight.
For example, is your WHY because you have been told you will have a hard time becoming pregnant and having the family you dreamed of because your excess weight is creating problems with your reproductive hormones?
Is your WHY because your parent died in their 40’s from a massive heart attack and you want to make sure your kids never have to worry about losing their own dad to heart disease?
Is your WHY because after having 3 kids and succumbing to weight gain you want to regain your confident self and fit into that old pair of jeans that no longer fit but you can’t let go of?
I ask you to discover your own WHY. It should be very personal to you. Having a specific WHY will improve your personal accountability to your weight loss and health goals.
